I first started photographing rally cars in the mid seventies, after following the Lombard RAC Rally. All these early photos were in Black & White and I formed Tony Large Photographic (TLP) a few years later. In 1986 I switched completely to colour film and continued supplying competitors and the media.
During late 2001 TLP went 'digital' with a Canon D30 SLR camera, which was very successful, and in March 2003 established this web site, using Everybody Smile Ltd and Dunns Imaging for Professional photographic printing.
Towards the end of 2003 I decided to increase the site content and feature contributing photographers work, so as to offer a wider motorsport photographic coverage. Mark Griffin was joined by Simon Clarke, along with Mick Pattison, these latter two photographers adding coverage from most of the major UK championships.
Several other photographers also joined during 2004 and in April I changed the website name from Tony Large Photographic to just tonylarge.net, to reflect the changing face of the business.
Having progressed through a Canon 10D, then 20D Digital SLR cameras I now use a Canon 1D MkII N.
I hope you will find the photo you are looking for, if not please don't hesitate to contact me.
